Helping bridge the education gap

There are plenty of good causes; few offer the instant gratification of walking into a classroom packed with children convinced of their potential. DC Prep provides high quality education to thousands of students in underserved communities. To meet their ambitious fund-raising goal of $25 million by 2020, this top-ranked charter school asked Grafik to create a capital campaign leveraging our initial brand work created at the school’s inception.

Capital Campaign Strategy

While the DC Prep website and collateral tell the ongoing story, we created a responsive web page and materials dedicated to “The Power to do More” campaign, making it even easier for visitors to donate and bring others into the DC Prep community of supporters. At the launch gala, donors completed a giant wall-sized puzzle, a tactile metaphor for the effect they have on the lives of thousands of children in their city—revealing that the power to do more is in everyone’s hands.
