Engaging modern learners
OmniUpdate, a pioneer in developing CMS solutions specifically for higher education, merged with student lifecycle management developer Destiny Solutions in the summer of 2020. They engaged Grafik to develop a new brand identity and marketing strategy for this unique entity, set to launch during the most turbulent time for education in decades.
We began with a deep discovery effort that included one-on-one interviews with leadership, investors, customers, and third-party industry experts, as well as a review of all competitors. It was recommended that a full rebrand was in order, and leadership agreed.
The new brand was launched in Q1 of 2021 as “Modern Campus,” a learning solution that delivered on the promise of “Engagement Evolved”—the brand’s mantra. A striking visual identity completes the rebrand, and helps tell the story of a completely new student engagement platform that is truly end-to-end, creating loyalty among the Modern Campus customers’ expanded target audience of “lifelong learners.”
Prior to launch, we supplied the Modern Campus team with a variety of designed templates that allowed them to introduce the brand with consistency and focus across the enterprise website.
The new brand identity carried over into a full suite of materials, including content assets that highlight Modern Campus as a true thought leader in education technology.
