Multiplying Good

Founded in 1972, the Jefferson Awards Foundation is a national awards platform that honors individuals committed to public service — people who have transformed the lives of those around them. Over the years, however, the organization expanded far beyond its core purpose.

Through immersive training programs and activation opportunities, students as young as eleven and twelve have come to realize their ability to create change, companies have united employees in cause-related service projects, and local unsung heroes have inspired their communities. As Jefferson began to look toward the next 50 years, it became clear the organization was in need of a rebrand.

Working directly with the leadership of the Jefferson Awards Foundation, including numerous touchpoints with the board of directors, Grafik launched its comprehensive process to carefully evaluate all facets of the organization. We reached out to internal and external audiences of various levels and understanding, and conducted extensive research and analysis, landing on an approach that underscores the overarching mission to unleash the potential for every individual through the power of service. The new name is the foundation for storytelling. Multiplying Good is as much the brand as it is a reason to engage. It’s a promise to create ripples of good within every community.

At annual awards galas, online, and through a host of new initiatives, including the development of a digital platform for our national service community, Multiplying Good is well on its way to becoming a 100% impact organization.
