From concept to credibility

Once known as Maxar Intelligence, and long recognized as a leader in high-resolution satellite imagery and geospatial data, the newly separated company emerged with a new name, a new mission, and a new story to tell. Rebranded as Vantor, the organization needed to claim its rightful place as a leader in AI-powered spatial intelligence—in markets that don’t give second chances at first impressions.

Delivering on clarity

Having worked closely with the team since 2022, Grafik stepped in as creative and brand authority for the launch. Building on foundational identity work by Lippincott, we developed the Total clarity from space to ground launch campaign, and built a comprehensive brand system designed to keep every agency, stakeholder, and creative partner aligned with the original intent.

Working from Vantor’s new visual identity, Grafik developed the campaign concept, messaging framework, and creative assets that brought the brand to life across channels. Every element was designed to shift perception from pixel provider to decision-enabler.

Making an entrance

For a brand entering a crowded, highly technical marketplace, visibility alone isn’t enough. Credibility has to come first. Grafik developed a phased media plan that opened with high-visibility placements in the outlets Vantor’s audiences rely on most—establishing the brand as an established presence, not a newcomer—then layered in thought-leadership opportunities to deepen understanding among priority audiences.

The media strategy was built for both immediate impact and long-term momentum—prioritizing the authoritative outlets decision-makers already trust, then evolving toward targeted, account-based approaches to sustain relevance well before procurement cycles begin.

Satellite imagery is only as powerful as the story it tells. Grafik established a data visualization toolkit that standardized how Vantor surfaces insights within its imagery—ensuring that the intelligence behind the pixels came through with the same clarity and authority as the brand itself.

Outcome

By helping shift Vantor’s narrative from satellite imagery provider to AI-driven spatial intelligence leader, the work clarified its value for defense and intelligence audiences and established strong market credibility. A cohesive, scalable brand system—paired with a strategically phased, high-visibility media launch—then translated that positioning into results, including a recent designation as one of TIME Magazine’s 10 Most Influential New Frontiers Companies of 2026.
