The Challenge

Our challenge was to increase visits to, and engagement with, an authenticated member portal for this organization of international automakers. And with cars becoming more and more connected, a natural goal for the marketing site was to promote memberships amongst communications technology firms.

The Solution

We leveraged Pimcore’s personalization capabilities by integrating with Global Automakers' CRM to dynamically deliver the premium content desired by each member—ranging from the latest news on V2X advances to manufacturing statistics within the U.S. In this way, members can now easily choose the subject matter areas most important to them, and every sign-in provides a bespoke experience.

The public facing site was redesigned to address the changing nature of the automotive landscape, including the advent of autonomous vehicles and the impact of the Internet of Things.

The Results

The new website information architecture is designed to more quickly surface the most relevant content for each target audience, serving as a window into a more personalized member portal experience. All of the previous utility remains, telling the story of international manufacturing on American soil in a compelling and impactful way, but now with a greater emphasis on the organization’s vision for the future of automobiles.

Early analytics show an 8-fold increase in portal use, and there was a nearly 75% increase in site visits, with session duration increasing by 22%.
