Matthew Shepard Foundation
Activating a cause marketing campaign
Each year, the Erase Hate event in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware spreads a message of understanding, compassion, and acceptance while raising money for the Matthew Shepard Foundation. To engage a younger audience—many of whom are too young to know the hate crime that killed Matthew Shepard—the year’s experiential event was held in a skatepark and featured competitive boarding. The winner received a custom skateboard designed by Grafik; several more were auctioned off at the event.
