Grafik has been everywhere lately—literally everywhere. Want to know what enables a company to thrive for 30 years in business? One factor is knowing that when the economy gets tough, the company has to keep its creative juices flowing, participate in projects that help the greater good and make sure to keep our name top of mind in the market. And that is exactly what Grafik did by participating in the Green Cup of Polo Event this weekend. Lydia Arshadi, who works for Grafik in business development was on the host committee to organize the Green Cup of Polo, an event designed to help raise awareness about environmental issues and to raise funds for the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE), Equestrian Partners in Conservation (EPIC), and EarthEcho International.
The completely green event was sponsored in part by Honest Tea, Coppi’s Organic, 360 Vodka, Whole Foods, and the Hudson Restaurant and was seen by Grafik leadership as a great way to support our staff’s efforts, become more engaged in its community and, of course to let more folks see what great work we do. Grafik played a role in the marketing and promotion of the event. It was all electronic marketing with paperless flyers designed by Grafik. Additionally,we designed the event tickets, and some signage. (There had to be a little bit of paper involved.) The event raised tons of money, and tons of awareness for green issues generating press all over the DC/Metro area. And of course, the Grafik logo was spotted at the event. You never know where that “G” is going to show up next.
