Grafik The Right Idea written on a brick wall

2009 – here we come

The markets are rebounding. Obama has won our hearts—or to be more accurate SOME of our hearts. It has not snowed yet. And the dead time between Thanksgiving and New Years has hopefully ended.

Do I sense a small modicum of  optimism? Or is it that I refused—yes refused—to listen to Marketplace or read the Wall Street Journal or Investment News for 10 glorious days? So I missed all the news about closures, furloughs and layoffs and life went on. As a news junky I did not read one issue of Financial Advisor and did not watch one minute of CNN. And it felt great.

So today we are all awakening from our vacation bliss state and figuring out plans, next steps, agendas. Positive movement. It feels good.
