Senior Client Strategist
Overview
As a Senior Client Strategist, you will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership within your business portfolio, along with a demonstrated ability to lead clients through B2B branding and marketing initiatives, including websites, in a consultative manner.
The Senior Client Strategist will lead multiple concurrent, complex engagements and utilize their expertise to consistently provide high quality client deliverables. The Senior Client Strategist serves as a mentor to junior team members and collaborates with agency leadership to secure new business.
The ideal candidate for this role will bring an entrepreneurial and growth mindset everyday along with executive consultative and business management capabilities that tie Grafik’s services to business goals and objectives.
This hybrid role is located in the Washington, DC and Philadelphia, PA metro areas.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead multiple concurrent and complex engagements between clients and the agency to bring together various agency disciplines, agency practices, media partners, and external agency partners in service of the client.
• Manage client expectations around service delivery independently to ensure profitability.
• Use data to glean rich insights in service of delivering and implementing actionable strategies that align Grafik services with client business goals and objectives.
• Report on account statuses, risks, and growth opportunities regularly to the management team and provides recommendations that align to the Grafik organizational strategy.
• Personally manage client portfolios of $1.5M–$2M annually, leveraging craft expertise to create customized branding and marketing initiatives.
• Build deep 1:1 relationships with key client stakeholders to lead engagements and build rapport as a trusted advisor.
• Identify opportunities for growth within their account portfolio and leads growth efforts within the broader Grafik organization with minimal support and guidance.
• Coach and mentor junior staff in process and subject matter expertise to the benefit of Grafik and its clients.
• Collaborate on pitch ideation for new business opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or related degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience driving B2B branding, marketing, and/or digital engagements. Agency experience required.
• Minimum 5 years leading multiple, concurrent client engagements within a marketing/branding/web/agency environment required.
• Advanced proficiency with creative processes and techniques, including digital strategies and platforms.
• Advanced proficiency with and demonstrated progressive understanding of graphic design principles, digital media and production methods required.
• Experience with and proficiency in commonly used document management software, particularly Google Suite and MS Office Suite, required.
• Experience with agency operations, pipeline, presentation, and time management tools such as Jira, Forecast, HubSpot, Keynote, is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be willing to make themselves available to other members of the team when needed.
• Ability to travel up to 50% for client-related meetings, internal team meetings, or professional development.
• Ability to multitask, and work well under tight deadlines is required, has a sense of urgency to obtain results while maintaining a positive & objective consultative attitude under pressure.
• Perform light work – exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• See, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push, and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
• Able to sit at a desk for long periods of time.
• Outcome-focused work ethic and the willingness to work additional hours or outside of core business hours as needed.
• Able to operate standard office equipment.
