UX Design Director
Overview
Are you passionate about taking complex ideas and turning them into beautifully designed, well-executed web experiences? We are too. Knowing that the UX design team is deeply involved in projects from inception to final delivery, the UX Design Director will inspire their team to approach our clients’ work with an innovative eye in order to get the best results for our clients. Whether the concept springs from team brainstorming sessions, a Creative Director’s vision, or their own unique perspectives, they will demonstrate total focus and commitment to every project and are driven to continually improve their understanding of how user experiences should look, feel, and function.
Responsibilities:
• Understanding clients’ businesses, and the problems they’re asked to solve
• Translating client business goals into intelligent user experience recommendations
• Collaborating with other creatives, strategists, and developers to deliver a flawless product
• Developing content layout, pixel-perfect visual appearance, and usability design
• Working with copywriters and digital strategists to develop strategically driven visual solutions
• Proactively identifying needs and potential issues—thinking ahead

Skills & Talents:
• Exceptional client and people management skills

• Experience in UX research, including planning, designing, and facilitating user sessions and client workshops, analyzing findings, and articulating results
• Strong understanding of information architecture, sitemaps, and wireframing
• Proficiency with modern UX/UI design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
• Experience with Agile, Design Sprints, and Design Systems
• Demonstrated experience in business development process, planning for, and delivering complex digital experiences
• Experience with user testing, motion, and front end development is a plus
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Strong portfolio of work demonstrating design for websites and mobile experiences across multiple platforms
• 10+ years of designing websites and/or mobile experiences
• 2+ years of experience leading UX/UI teams and ability to mentor and inspire team members
